Okay i've seen a lot of posts and inchannel requests for seeding old eps they are usually effective cuz either one of us sees that and goes or some kind soul passes by and helps out.
But let me just say keeping over 50 torrents ACTIVE and seeded all the time is near impossible!
So as u all know how BT should work, old torrents are the hardest to get seeds for as people move on to the next episode etc...
Keep in mind that BT is best at release time + 48 hours or so. But that doesnt mean we wont support old torrents we do, in fact me and some other ops are actively checking our tracker page for what needs seeding (although we would be slow on older torrents but it does get done!)
Heres the deal for how things work.
We dont seed torrents unless there is double digits or 15+ downloaders waiting for the file, once this happens i will usually spot it and jump on. (yes there are cheesy things u can do to get around this but plz dont)
Also once that happens, we then seed until we create another 1-3 seeds then we hop onto the next one.
If everyone kept the mentallity of making sure before they leave they create another seed, then everything will run much smoother
So if you want something and you're waiting for someone to seed please be patient and dont say things like "oh they dont keep their stuff seeded"... cuz trust me its hard to keep things seeded 100% of the time!
