YAY another great night time fight sceen

Yay! I'm glad the anime has finally come back around to the manga, even if the timing is all screwed up.

I'm slightly disappointed that they didn't put in the part with Souji tugging on Hijikata's hair while buying candy or have Souji mimicing Hijikata during their conversation afterwards. That scene was also stronger in the manga, I thought.

But I loved the Tetsu vs Suzu fight in the weapons shop. Suzu is such a bad a** I just love him. He's also got crazy mad sword skillz to boot. Why do I get the impression that Tatsu often has to save his brother from such situations?

I was also disappointed in how they changed the shinobi vs. shinobi fight. Where did these other two shinobi come from? What purpose do they serve? And what are the chances that three female shinobi would all join forces with the Choshuu?

In the manga Susumu fights one shinobi (the blonde), who injures him, though not severely (he doesn't pass out or anything) and she is the one who buggers off first. Susumu ends up looking kind of wussy in the anime. Though, I suppose being ganged up on by three shinobi would make me turn tail and run too.

Still the manga fight looked cooler and Susumu was the one there who got to be all sarcastic about his opponent's skills.

EDIT: Before I forget, does anyone know where the image AF uses before the translation notes came from? It's friggin' spiffy.

I'm just glad that we finally get to see more action from Susumu..he's my favourite.



I don't read the manga at all but that does seem crutial.

u may not care but in ur preview in ur homa page tetsu is spelt wrong it is spelt tatsu once so u may wanna change it

Tatsu is the older abacus wielding brother of Tetsu our spiky haired protagonist.

I don't mean to sound rude, but your argument might be a bit stronger if you used proper spelling.

On that note, AF website people, you misspelled "Gilgamesh" as "Giglamesh" on the downloads page. It's not really all too noticable, but I spent and ungodly ammount of time yesterday refreshing the 'downloads' page waiting for PMK 7 and I noticed it.

Anyway, back to PMK.




It probably is pretty crucial, considering what happens afterwards (Sorry for being vague, but I don't want to spoil it for everyone) with him and Ayumu. I found it interesting that the dark-haired shinobi calls Susumu a 'boy'. I don't think there has been any mention in the manga (or at least the scanlated parts!) of his age, so it's odd that the anime people are making Susumu the same age as Tetsu. Of course, Susumu doesn't look fifteen (and Tetsu doesn't either!), but being that young would help him a lot when he's disguised as girl-type Susumu.
