so, i know myself and some of the other folks on this board are trying to learn japanese-- i was thinking it might be kinda cool to have a forum for conversations in japanese, with people writing their posts in romanji and then translating what they wrote below in white font. that way you'd be trying to understand the post first, but you'd have a way out if you got stuck on what something meant. i think it'd be a neat way to practice. anyone with me?

Interesting suggestion... but ne if japanese literate people were active or running a forum like that...
why not just join us in bringing more exciting anime to everyone instead?

ha, i'd love to, if only i could do more than introduce myself, ask where someone is from or call them stupid bitch..! maybe one day when my japanese is better i'll join the ranks.

Why don't we just make a forum that everyone helps each other learn japanese I am also trying to learn japanese but I do not take lessons(Parents wouldn't pay for them) but everybody could like type words they know then what they mean

Hm... I've been selfstudying for 4 years now.
Both culture, language and writing.
I know pretty much, tell me if you want to know anything.
And one of my guy friends are japanese too.

I can start talking in romaji. But I prefer kanji/hiragana much more.

But then again... I dunno this forum handles ansian characters

I have an idea for the fourms........they need someone to to make little buttons and stuff for them on the rankings and stuff.
