I just got a Linksys video card, and bitorrent cause my computer to reboot automatically 100% of the time. I have updated to the latest driver 5.0. Can anyone help me solve this problem or had this problem and know the solution to it.

Hey ppl Does one need internet connection to convert a .torrent file?
I have bittorrent version 4.0.3 but the conversion becomes 0 bytes.
Correct me if i'm wrong, .torrent files are compressed so when converted into .avi they become larger right, shouldn't it be that when the conversion is done a KB .torrent file should be a MB .avi file?
After conversion, the file should open with a few players instead of one?
I'm using a K-lie Codec Pack plus Xivd and Divx [including the player].

Yes you need an internet connection for Bittorrent to work. It doesn't automatically "convert" to an .avi. The .torrent file is just a file that tells Bittorrent what to download and how to put the pieces you download from all the peers together to make the .avi file. So if you don't have an internet connection, you can't download anything, and the .avi remains at 0 bytes.

Could you be a little more specific? Are you saying that your computer is rebooting when you run bitorrent and you think its due to your new Linksys card?
