For those who are interested I found a site with a short trailer for movie 3. Of course it's only in japanese.
http://www.inuyasha-movie.com/ When you go to the site click the button in the middle. There are also 2 trailers for windows media player, but i couldn't get them to play. The one i watched was for quicktime.

I saw that b4, it seems to be based on Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru, maybe we can finally learn more about Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha's pasts? Of course I still need to see the 2nd movie

For the Media Player link you have to copy the URL of the link, open media player, go to file...open URL and copy the link in and it'll play.

You can actually download the trailer to your computer if you go
here... at least, I think you still can.
I've watched it at least a dozen times, it's so short but soooo cool.

Of course, we'll probably have to wait more than a year to see a subbed version released, which is a bit depressing. I hope there'll be spoiler summaries up come December, otherwise I'm going to go crazy wondering what happens.
I have a question for those more fluent in Japanese than I am--what is Inuyasha saying in the trailer? Sesshoumaru is easy enough to understand ("I'll kill you"--doesn't get much simpler than that), but I can't quite make out Inuyasha's line.

Sesshoumaru: "Kisama o korosu..."
Inuyasha: "Honto ni yaru tte no ka yo?"
I'm not the best when it comes to japanese,
but I have been studying it for 4 years now.
And this is pretty easy to translate,
even though I only translate manga... ^^
Sesshoumaru: "I'm gonna kill you..."
Inuyasha: "You sure you can?"
Inuyasha can also say "yeah, that's what you say",
but then the "no ka" wouldn't make any sense...
Because "tte" is often used as "you said" (kinda),
but it can also be an emphasize. Which I think it is.

Thanks a lot! I just couldn't figure out the middle part of what he was saying ("yaru tte"), so I couldn't quite translate it. I figured it was something like that, though. Heh, Inuyasha's so cocky...

I'm allways here to help out, babe. (what the--!?)
I understand that "yaru tte" may sound confusing,
because if you put it together like "yarutte"
it sounds as if it's a verb. ^^ Mighty tricky, I say.
Ask me any time if u need help, though,
I've got nothing better to do anyway...

Yeah, that's exactly what I kept doing, putting it together like that. Naturally, it didn't make any sense at all.

That's why I prefer reading untranslated manga to watching untranslated anime.
Thanks again.

And now, I've got to log off and drive up to my mom's new house, which doesn't have any computer hooked up to the Internet yet... so I won't be able to post or download stuff for the next four or five days.

Oh well...

hmm i wonder if there are any general plot summaries out yet. with normal movies its easy to find little tidbits about them in magazines but i havent seen anything yet about this movie other than the short trailer.

It won't be shown until December this year, right?
Why would they spoil the story before it's out?
We'll just have to wait... yeah... I love December. ^^
I hate summers! They're too hot and ... bright!
I want the sun to go down at 15.00! That's the best!
hehehe... hehahahaha... hahaHAHAHA... MWOHAHAHA!!

With enough demands, I can do a quick trans of the preview movie.

There's one more trailer to the third movie?
I thought the one I translated was the only one.
Dunno if I translated it correct,
I'm just trying to get better at listening to japanese,
other than that I only translate manga (it's easy).
If you want another source for getting the trailer, you can download it off MMD[serv] on IRC.
