Friendly tyrant here, I initiated this poll because I believe that Last Exile will win this battle of the animes. So Get to it and pls no bashing of any of the shows no matter how much you hate them (uhum IY uhum). So share your thoughts.

My vote goes to last EXILE. IY isn't bad and certainly has more continuity than most of Takahashi's works- but it just can't compare to LE's complexity if ya ask me.

Never seen Initial D, so canna comment on it- and Recca was nice (Tokiya anyone?) but still not a good as LE.

I like them all, which is why it was such a difficust vote.... Went with LE simply because it's a new series and I like fast developing plots.

I like both Inuyasha and LE but since I havnt seen Inuyasha from about 40 to 109 it's kinda hard to follow

Mine is Inu Yasha. Simply because I haven't seen anything else yet. Well, except for 1 ep of Divergence Eve, but I really hated that one. Maybe I should check out Last exile. Are the older files for download too?

I spend most of my time on IY forum, but, I still voted for LE because the story is wonderful and complex and it gets me thinking. IY doesn't really get me thinking like LE, but I love them both. Alex is so sexy

I voted for Inuyasha (which, sadly, is still losing), but I like Last Exile a lot too, now that I'm catching up with the series. Nice animation, characters, plot, and soundtrack... generally, a winner all-around. (And Alex has nothing on Moran when it comes to sexiness! )

I notice the Inuyasha fans aren't bashing LE at all, though, while the same definitely can't be said for the reverse. Hmm... ::tsks::

IY is a wonderful story, but I think that LE has more depth to it. There's a richness in that series that IY lacks.

However, there is great humor and some wonderful reversals in IY that you don't see as much in LE. For example, Sessomaru caring for Rin as he does. I was all set to consider him a bad guy, and then... wham!

So both are great, but LE is my baby.

My vote goes to Inu Yasha. Imo it's one of the best anime I've ever seen

Okay, I've seen some last Exile now, and I must say it looks pretty sweet, but I think I still like Inu Yasha better. Who knows, it might change but so far I found Inu Yasha more compelling, especially the first part.

well... there isn't really a need to vote... we can all tell by the amounts of posts
in each anime's forum...
here it is pretty obvius someone has messed with the results...

actually there's presently alot more to discuss in Inu Yasha given how long it's been running- so naturally it's forum would have more actual posts. Last EXILE is still very new, no one really knows where it's headed, so all we can do is have theory discussions- which not everyone enjoys even if they enjoy the anime.

That or we can discuss what's happened in the past few episodes- which provides considerably less subject material when there's only 15 eps available for discussion as opposed to 116.

But I love them all... any anime's with a good story and a plot is fine with me

But I am not the biggest Inuyasha fan,

Inuyasha is a long running anime,
therefore many discussions. Too many.

I don't think I've ever seen an anime quite like LastEXILE. It's so incredibly beautiful and detailed, in both the animation and the story line. The other anime's in the poll don't even stand a chance.

LE is still owning all the other animes...

I had no idea there were so many people into LE.

Upon thinking about it, I realized that the reason this struck me as weird is because sitting in the IRC channel, so many more people come in and @find inuyasha than LE...but out of the people who took the time to reg for the forum....

The poll doesnt 100% prove anything. It could be that LE fans just get out more (onto other forums . Peeps seen heading into Mirc and trying to find InuYasha could be becuase of the lack of 1->100+ torrents available on the front page. Where as the LE downloads are pretty in your face. That also could be a contributing factor for LE dominance here.

you cant argue with the polls, last exile is a great series. greater than inu yasha from the fans perspective. you should try and watch it.

I voted a long time ago for Inuyasha...before I had seen Last Exile. It took me a while because I'm one of those idiots with little patience for a series that starts off slow.
