I played the Initial D arcade game, and all i gotta say is WOW.
This game is amazing. If you ever get a chance make sure you play it.

i played it a couple times, but my other friends are completely hooked on it! They treat those card things like precious jewels

i forget what its called, but initial d is coming to the ps2. i think it was something like special stage

The arcade near my house has version 2. Man it kicks so much butt. Too bad it doesn't have the specail shift trick from version 1 where you shit immediatly to 3rd gear. But it's still a fun game. I get more of a rush playing this game then I do playing Gran Turismo 3. When I play GT3 compared to I:D the arcade game, drifting feels more realistic.

My favorite cars are the Trueno and the FC. My favorite course is Akina on the downhill at nigt. Me and my brother played today (I had the Trueno, he had the R32), and had one of the most intense battles ever. I passed him on the infamous 5 hairpins (using the gutters) and I actually had him for awhile, somehow in the last second he was able to pass me and I tailgated him all the way to the finish line. And I lost.

My arcade had version 3, but they downgraded to v2 for no apparent reason.

I drive the buntamobile, the GC8V, STI WRX Imprezza.

Anyone have any times for the courses?

I run a 3'04'' on Akina downhill dry. I dont know any other times off the top of my head.
