hihi, I haven't been around here since Gilgamesh sooo, I'm kinda outta the loop, so if sumone has already inquired about this problem, directing me to the topic would be great help!

I jus recently d/l the Samurai Champloo 1-17 pack, and whenever I try to watch the episodes, the picture becomes pixelated in scenes, and most of the time the episode will jus freeze every 3 mins or so and Movie player will jus shut down. This happens w/ BS player too, and it doesn't even start playin in Real Player.
I read the other topic similar to this, and jus installed the latest Xvid codecs as ppl have suggested, and this helped a little, the episode no longer stops every 3 mins, but if I don't restart the compy before watchin a new episode, it freezes every couple mins again.
I jus finished watchin all the eps, but it was a hassle to restart the compy everytime I started a new epi.
Its as if the torrent didn't fully download, but I have checked twice, and it says its completed successfully.

I would really appreaciate some input on this problem for future veiwing...I love this show, and I would hate to hafta restart my compy everytime I wanna watch... sad.gif

Champloo was encoded with koepis xvid (www.koepi.org) make sure you have the latest version of that. If you have divx 5 installed make sure it isn't trying to decode mpeg 4 material.

Still no luck make sure your files aren't corrupt by checking the CRC or running the BT on them to make sure you start seeding (this will mean error free).

If that doesn't work try another player; some recommended ones are windows old mplayer2.exe, media player classic, and bsplayer.

If those still don't work try VLC Player or installing the latest ffdshow (ffdshow recommened as last resort).

And if all this still doesn't help, format your computer and reinstall tongue.gif

EDIT 3-1-05: fixed the koepi.org link since i was dumb or something
